Description

Render Plas Kote is a polymer modified thin layer of cementitious plaster aplied into a wall and ceiling of a concrete surface. It is non-shrinking and non-cracking resurfacing material.

Composition

It contains binder, mineral fillers and special additives. It is safe and has no harmful components.

Application

Render Plas Mortar 1P is a standard grade, gray/white color cementitious render and repair mortar. Render Plas Mortar 1P leaves a smooth surface and is great for plastering on cast and overhead surfaces, columns and beams.

Application thickness can be varied from 5 to 12mm for thin application and 5 to 25mm for thick application. Can be applied in two coats for an even smoother finish and texture.

Coverage

1 kg Render Plas Kote per square meter at 1mm thickness

How to Use

• Surface must be clean and free from laitance, dirt, and greases.

• Pour 7-8 liters of clean water to one (1) bag or 20 kgs of Render Plas Kote. Use a plastic container.

• Put water into the container and add the Render Plas Kote slowly.

• Mix thoroughly until lump free consistency is attained.

• Let the mixture stand and stir again after 10-15 minutes.

• Using a steel trowel or a roller, apply the Render Plas Kote evenly to the surface with the desired thickness.

• Apply Render Plas Kote with two (2) coats after the first coat has completely sets.

• Sanding may be necessary to obtain a very smooth surface.

• Once the Render Plas Kote has dried, a final coat such as paint must be applied.
